In - Home Dining with Local Celebrities
By exclusive arrangement - a group of 10 (not over 12) are invited for a special experience to the home of a well respected industry chef or writer. Meet our experts and hear about their special cooking techniques, see their personal kitchens and enjoy a finished meal matched with local wines. Professional sommelier joins our group. Recipes and wine match notes always a part of any Feast & Vine programme. Minimum one month booking arrangement, minimum ten persons. You will only find this programme here as all professionals are exclusive to Feast & Vine in Wellington. Exclusive Auckland in-home dining programmes available through our partner Finding Flavour.
Hands On With A Leading Restaurant Chef
Visit a leading Wellington restaurant and get a first hand peek into a professional kitchen. Designed as a hands on cooking experience, but may also be considered as a chef demo only, your team will be wowed by insider tips and secrets of a professional chef. A lunch venue which includes a 4-course menu with carefully chosen wines to match. Professional sommelier joins our group to give insight into wine and food matching. Recipes and wine notes provided. Personalized cookbooks available at certain venues for an additional fee.

Miramar – Trendy suburb within 5 minutes drive of Wellington airport and 15 minutes from downtown. Start with coffee at a beautifully restored historic Art Deco theatre. Then stroll around the neighbourhood to visit an authentic Greek food maker serving the large local Greek 
community, a specialist fruit and vegetable shop, French patisserie, quality local butcher and an exceptional Middle Eastern food supplier (timed to see the flatbreads hot from the oven!). This tour ends with refreshments at our favourite local Mexican restaurant.
For added twists, this tour can be designed with add-ons from the film industry with a stop at Weta Cave. Allow 3 hours (or 4 with the addition of Weta cave)
Historic Petone - Just 20 minutes from downtown Wellington is the quaint seaside suburb of Petone. This historic 
neighbourhood is fast becoming a “foodies find” and this walking tour visits some of the specialists only the locals know about: coffee roaster, Italian deli and food supplier, international food importer, cookbook shop, and Petone’s own artesian water supply and much more!
Walking tour only allow 3 hours minimum. Add extra time to include lunch or additional browsing.

A Day at Murdoch James Winery in Martinborough
Relax and enjoy the train to Martinborough where you will be met upon arrival and driven through scenic wine country until you reach Murdoch James Winery. Surrounded by estate vineyards this charming estate overlooking natural 
water features includes an atmospheric barrel cave and their own private Bloom Cafe, where our guests enjoy dining amidst divinely pastoral beauty. An exclusive luncheon designed to pair with Murdoch James premium wines coupled with the savoury seasoning plates program created by Feast & Vine complete a perfectly paired wine and food match afternoon.
Fraser family members guide our guests for a complete and exclusive wine tour as well. As times permit, other winery visits can be included as a part of our itinerary.
Afternoon Picnic at ZEALANDIA: The Karori Sanctuary Experience
An exclusive and utterly unique offering. Guests are guided on a private tour by knowledgeable staff of these amazing gardens for viewing of unsurpassed flora and fauna amidst birds of every indigenous species. Gourmet picnic specialities are enjoyed outside along with New Zealand wines. Our winemaker and sommelier guide our guests through the Feast & Vine wine match program under canopies of lush vegetation. Alternate plans are available due to inclement weather at the new cafe and exhibit center. All inclusive packages including exhibit center viewing with wine match lunch can be designed.
Bike Excursion and Wine Picnic at Day’s Bay
A version of our Feast & Ferry afternoon with the addition of biking. Guests enjoy 
Wellington harbour via ferry and are met upon arrival at Day’s Bay Beach dock by a biking van which carries them to the flat trails hugging the shoreline of Eastbourne. A leisurely ride and excursion amidst the perfectly pastoral beauty and shoreline of Eastbourne concludes with an outdoor gourmet picnic created by our artisan chef from locally grown New Zealand produce. Participants experience the Feast & Vine savoury seasoning and wine match program with an array of New Zealand wines as presented by our sommelier and wine maker, all the while enjoying this magnificent setting.
Museum of Wellington - Tour and Wine Tasting
Join Feast & Vine’s introduction to the Museum of Wellington, Wellington’s charming and innovative museum conveniently located on Queen’s wharf. Book a personal tour for your group (2 or more persons minimum) which will include an intimate overview of the “must see” most popular historical highlights of New Zealand. After your informative almost one hour privately guided tour into Wellington and New Zealand’s intriguing past, you will be escorted to a favourite wine cellar where you will taste premium New Zealand wines. Our local sommelier will discuss with you the finer points of New Zealand wines. Appetiser tastings of indigenous foods and cheeses highlighting New Zealand’s bounty will be included. This event combines the best of Wellington’s offerings: A private tour of a truly national treasure coupled with the tasting delights

Hollywood & Vine
Feast & Vine has organized a step back in time for cinema history at a beloved Wellington mystery location. Enter a world of old Hollywood glamour as Feast & Vine combines fine New Zealand wine and great New Zealand cuisine at a once in a lifetime location.
Character actors are appropriately dressed to carry out the Hollywood theme and add levity and entertainment for the evening with a vintage movie theme skit. A marvellous offering for a conference breakout or a corporate team building evening. Also available as a private party hire.
